When you make a donation, we collect your name, email address, billing country, and payment information. If you choose to share your name with the recipient or request a delivery video, we store those preferences. We also collect standard analytics data (pages visited, device type, approximate location) to improve the site.
How we use your data
We use your information to process donations, deliver items, send confirmations and delivery updates, and improve our service. We never sell your data to third parties. If you opt in to updates, we may send occasional emails about our work.
Data sharing
We share your data only with payment processors (to complete transactions) and our delivery team in Afghanistan (recipient details only, not your payment info). If you choose to stay anonymous, the recipient never sees your name.
Data retention
We retain donation records for legal and accounting purposes. You can request deletion of your personal data by emailing us at support@bakhshish.org.
